Glen Mayo, who is perhaps most well-known for his original and timeless metalworks, has been a sculptor and furniture maker for over 30 years.

In addition to a wide variety of site specific sculptures, Mayo has also created an impressive array of focal point furniture pieces and breathtaking architectural metal work installations, many of which have been published in highly regarded design forum magazines.  Many of Mayo’s creations are made in highly tooled finished stainless steel, however, the artist also works in a variety of other metals as well as in wood, stone and glass.  The artist’s works have been exhibited at Art Basel Miami as well as in public spaces and in fashionable hotels such as the Four Seasons in Miami.

Although Mayo’s early years were spent in New York City, he lived and worked for over two decades in South Florida where he developed and created an impressive body of work.  Now in his vibrant 60s, the artist recently relocated to New York’s Hudson Valley where he continues to focus and finesse his prolific journey.
