Allison Eden

Hailing from San Diego, Allison Eden is most well-known for her large mosaic pieces made in brilliant kaleidoscopes of color.  “My style is my own. I’m not trendy and I’m not fashionable.  I love outlandish things.  I love sparkle, I love movement,” says Eden.

Eden originally relocated to New York to pursue a degree in fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Technology and later became an assistant designer for Nautica.  Then one day, as she was strolling through downtown Manhattan, a store selling sheets of brightly colored glass caught her eye and thus began her journey in mosaics.

In addition to her work in mosaics, Eden designs custom carpets, wallpaper and textiles in her signature range of brilliant colors and her studio is one of the country’s leading glass tile suppliers for commercial and interior décor.  The artist lives and works in New York City.
