Adriana Barone is a painter who chases the challenge of the canvas, bringing spontaneity, freedom and life force to her work by combining intuitive mark making, imagery and humor.  Barone describes herself as an artist who “paints to paint” and she relishes breakthroughs when they occur.

Barone is a member of the Sag Harbor collective and her work has been featured in The Ukraine Auction at The Church, Romany Kramoris Gallery, Open-minded Organics, Stella & Ruby, John Germain Library and Haubrich Art.  In addition, her Tibetan artwork has been shown at the Omega Institute, Yoga Shanti, Ananda Wellness Center and Mandala Yoga.

Barone is a graduate of Pratt Institute with a major in Fine Art and a minor in Art History.  She has also studied with Nicholas Wilton, Linda Capello, John Haubrich and Melora Griffis.  Formerly an Art Director in New York City, the artist has dedicated herself for many years to her painting and to her Energy Healing practice.  Barone lives and works in Sag Harbor, New York.
